Click. Wow. Click. Uh. Click. Groan. - The last couple of days have presented me with a number of news items that I've found interesting and worth passing along to you my readers. These all touch on subjects that I have posted upon in the past.

The first is in relation to bees. Here's the link: UM’s “Bee Whisperer” Tells of Honeybees’ Military Potential.

I found it because I continue to monitor the Colony Collapse Disorder (a subject that is addressed in the article) that many bee keepers are faced with in the world today. It's a news item that has a, "Wow", factor. You see, a man has found a way to train bees to find land mines!

This next item is related to my post yesterday, "I am Bone Weary of America's Licentiousness.

A study has shown that more of the tweens group are engaging in sexual behavior. Here's the link: Younger adolescents involved in sexual activity.

Here's a news item that was encouraging to me: Planned Parenthood fails to open doors. Here's a snippet:

A state law that requires abortionists to inform women – before an abortion – that the procedure "will terminate the life of a whole, separate, unique, living human being" apparently has done what no other pro-life protest has been able to accomplish – the closure of Planned Parenthood's abortion facility.

Here is yet another example of the fallout from the Court in California making same-sex marriage legal. Christian therapist under fire for email response.

This therapist is under fire because she voiced her Christian beliefs to fellow therapists. I applaud her for not hiding her faith.

Here's another item out of California. Academia to high schools: No God allowed.

Arguments were heard today in a federal district court case to determine whether a state university system can dictate that private Christian schools in the state teach their college prep courses from exclusively secular, Bible- and God-free textbooks.

Here's the final item in my list today. PBS documentary denies inerrancy of scripture. There's apparently a forth coming Nova program that argues things such as the story of Abraham being fictious.

Seeing some of the news items sure does make it hard to understand how some people continue to operate under the false belief that Christianity isn't under attack in America today.

I am Bone Weary of America's Licentiousness.

Embracing Evil - Licentious:

1. Lacking moral discipline or ignoring legal restraint, especially in sexual conduct.
2. Having no regard for accepted rules or standards.

I am beginning to wonder whether America is full of liars or full of people with multiple personalities.

Maybe both.

One thing that I am certain of is that the spirit within me aches with the knowledge and the realization of what it means for the future of the nation.

This is what I'm asking myself: If the polls are to be believed than a majority of American's consider themselves "Christian." But if that is the case, why does the American public continue to eat out of the gutter of unrighteousness and sin by engaging in licentious behaviors?

What started this rumination today? The fact that I can't seem to escape the sexual images and sounds that this culture seems bent to inflict upon everyone. Whether it's in our television programming, the commercials that say you're not happy unless you've got our product that will make others want to have sex with you, or the pervasive adds on the internet touting the same.

This morning I got on FaceBook and jumped over to a popular application that a friend invited me to try out called, "Owned!" In this online game you get "x" amount of money and can bid on the photos of your friends and other people playing the game. As you get into bidding wars the "value" of the person's photo increases and thus the overall value of the person increase. I know, it's absurd. But I found it fun bidding on the photos of friends and seeing some of the creative stuff people put up for bid.

However, today the charm is gone and I am trying to decide if I should figure out how I can get all my photos and stuff out of the game.

Why?

Muslim Kiddie Show Encourages Cutting off Hand of Theiving Bunny.

Is this a religion of peace? - Here is a link to the religion that the enemies of America wish to force by violence upon the world.

WND | Children TV viewers: 'Chop off his hand'.

A children's television program broadcast by the recognized terrorist organization Hamas welcomed child viewers to decide the fate of a thieving pink bunny, whom the children sentenced to having his hand chopped off for his crime.

The children's program is titled, "The Pioneers of Tomorrow."

Court Awards Christian's Daughters to Kidnappers.

They hate you because of me - This is an absolutely horrendous news item of Christian persecution to me. The reason being that it shows the state sponsorship of an anti-Christian agenda.

WorldNetDaily reports. Court: Young victims belong to kidnappers:

WND reported earlier when the kidnappers filed in court for custody of Saba Younis, 13, and Aneela Younis, 10, who were kidnapped on June 26 in the small town of Chowk Munda.

The father then was summoned by police to hear that the kidnappers had filed with the court for custody of the girls, alleging they had "converted" to Islam and the father no longer had jurisdiction over them.

Imagine the horror of this Christian family in Pakistan where the daughters were both kidnapped by Islamic men and sold into sexual bondage. That's right. Sexual bondage. Read the full article. The men who did the kidnapping are known to work in human trafficking.

The court said that because the girls "converted" to Islam that they become the property of their kidnappers. Outrageous!! If they "converted" it was under duress. They were kidnapped after all.

Pray for these poor children and their family. Pray too for this country locked in Satan's grasp and the lie of Islam.

Picture Perfect Friday: Jacob.

Snap the cuteness. - Here is my cuz's little bundle of joy. Jacob. What a great name too. The name is of Hebrew origins and means, "he who supplants." In the Bible, Jacob supplanted his brother Esa and was later renamed Israel by God.

Welcome to the world Jacob. May you lay hold of the path for which God has called you.

Burmese Christians Find Persecution in New Zealand.

They hate you because of me - This news item saddens me. A family of Christians who escaped the hatred and persecution in Burma (now referred to as Myanmar) has been doing their best to survive in New Zealand. Only they've been vandalized three times now by some hater(s).

One of the most troubling things about the story to me is the reaction of the mayor of the city in which these Christians live:

Mayor David Ogden says he is reluctant to comment. The type of people who carry out such an attacks thrive on publicity, he says.

"I would like to think it is a one off. Someone had a bad day at the office and has taken it out on them."

Excuse me, but painting swastikas and pornographic statements of hate on their car and puncturing their tires is not the stuff one does because of a bad day at work. Besides this was the third act of vandalism so it's definitely not a "one off" sort of event.

Say a prayer for the Cenhrang family and pray to for the person or persons persecuting them that they too might come to know the love and freedom found in Jesus.

A Weapon Against the Family.

Garbage in, Garbage Out - Here's a great article well worth reading concerning pornography and the argument of free speech. It's by Alan Sears:

Virgin Mobile's "Strip2Clothe" website displays the campaign slogan, "You take off yours, we donate ours" and "Somewhere someone out there needs clothes more than you." It promises to make a clothing donation to homeless youth every time five people watch the striptease videos.

The website asks that there be no cursing or full nudity. "Think bathing suit, not birthday suit," it says. However, several entries feature young women dancing in bras and panties.

Vaccine Contains Remnants of Aborted Babies.

A newly licensed vaccine for several illnesses contains tissue from aborted babies.

Pentacel is a combination vaccine for five diseases approved by the Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices. The vaccine is to be added to the immunization schedule for children.

If I had children, I would certainly be making sure that they did not get vaccinated with this drug.

Planned Parenthood Bringing Immoraility and Death to a Mall near You.

The Business of Murder - My dad sent me a link to a post by Albert Mohler who has a bit of shocking news to me about Planned Parenthood's "redefining" of itself.

The company which receives large sums of our tax dollars for the purpose of murdering children is looking at expanding into malls.

Coming to a Mall Near You -- Planned Parenthood's New Strategy.

Planned Parenthood may be legally defined as a nonprofit organization, but it is flush with money. The organization took in over $1 billion last year, and reported $112 million in "excess of revenue over expenses." The group also received $70 million in federal funds -- your tax dollars at work.

Make no mistake -- Planned Parenthood has an agenda, even as it did when founded by Margaret Sanger and other radicals in the early 20th century. The organization receives hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue from killing unborn babies. It wants to extend its reach into the population.

It's an interesting article that I suggest you read. One thing that surprised me was how much competition there is in the abortion business and how Planned Parenthood and other abortion clinics compete in the American marketplace.

I felt sick when I saw that the cost for death was $425.00.

It makes my spirit ache.

Is God Judging America for Our Immorality?

Have we forsaken God as a nation? - It's a contemplative question we should consider if we are Christians.

If you've read the Bible, studied it for anytime, you know that God is holy and righteous and as such He does not suffer immorality forever. Yes, He is also loving, and it's that love for us, His creation, which propelled Him to send Christ to be the atonement for our sins. But does that love give a nation full of Christians free rain to flaunt activities and lifestyles which God as declared immoral?

No.

Throughout the Old Testament we can see the outcome when Israel left the practices of living a holy life which God gave them. He brought judgment upon them. One thing to recognize is that His judgments were redemptive. Meaning that they were designed to admonish the nation so that the people would recognize their sin and turn again to God. Read, Jeremiah for a prime example of a people rebuked and who then repented.

God's judgments for national immorality have been delivered through other nations and through nature.

Some of the things that God has judged large groups of people for were when they were engaging in the detestable practices of murdering their children for selfish desires and for the sexual immoralities like the sin of homosexuality.

Earlier this week I listened to a pod cast at Active Christian Media.

In Stacy's interview with John, he draws some interesting connections between several immoral actions cities and governments in our nation have taken and the natural disasters that followed.

While listening I was reminded of a book series I recently read by Davis Bunn. It was, The Warning/The Ultimatum (Reluctant Prophet Series 1-2). In those books, God issues a warning and a judgment upon America that is both in the financial arena and the natural. I recommend reading them. I remember thinking that it was rather prophetic.

And I also recommend listening to John McTernan's interview. I've not read John's books, but he spoke succinctly on the Bible and world events. As a nation we are heading further away from righteousness as defined by God the Father in His Word.

California is burning out of control and they recently legalized same sex marriage. Makes you wonder doesn't it? It does me.

We've a man running for President of the United states in the form of Barack Obama who, as La Shawn Barber points out, is an avid supporter of infanticide. The number of religious leaders calling themselves Christians and overlooking this fact deeply troubles me and concerns me when thinking about our future.

As a people we need to repent of our individual and collective sins and turn from the path of unrighteous we are on as a nation and seek again the face of God.

How much for that pastor on the Internet. - Here's an odditiy for you today. Apparently a pastor is looking to pastor a new church. I'd say it's an unconventional means of seeking a job but I suppose in the age of eBay pretty much anything falls under the hammer.

That's right eBay. He's selling his pastoral services on the auction giant.
